Public Repeater Operation

2 Meter: 146.895 MHz

The K2CC 2 meter (VHF) repeater has an output frequency of 146.895 MHz, with a -0.6 MHz offset. It requires a CTCSS tone of 151.4 Hz on the input, and transmits a 151.4 Hz CTCSS as well. The 2 meter repeater supports IRLP and is node 4747.

70 Centimeter: 443.3500+ Mhz (Voice)

The 70 centimeter (UHF) repeater is currently off air.

23 Centimeter 1272.00+ (Voice) 1298.00 (Data)

The 23 centimeter (1.2GHz) repeaters are used for D-STAR data and voice. The voice repeater operates with a +12 MHz offset and the data repeater operates on 1298 MHz simplex. For more information on using the D-STAR gateway for voice or data, see Using D-STAR.

Repeater Administration

Control Commands

IRLP is supported on the 2m repeater. To connect to another node, dial its number on a DTMF keypad. To disconnect dial "73". The K2CC repeater's node number is 4747.

2m Port

The repeater is a Vertex Standard VXR-9000, bought in spring 2013 through alumni donations.

The 2m transmitter/receiver was previously a modified GE Mastr II.

IRLP Controller

The IRLP controller is a HP T610 thin client, with an IRLP v3 interface board.

D-Star Equipment

All of the D-Star repeaters share a single Icom ID-RP2C controller. The K2CC D-Star repeater is not currently connected to the D-star network.

23 cm Repeater

The 23 cm repeater uses an Icom ID-RP2V voice repeater module connected to port 4 of the controller and an Icom ID-RP2D data module connected to port 1.
